I am back and feel a bit more human this week! I figured I would blog with a pic this time since it has been way too long from when I last posted a pic.
So this is a little image of my latest wall art that is up and hanging in my studio now. It is slowly but surely coming together. I chose this one to be an image from the trash-the-dress shoot I did with Talia and her husband Ed. I loved the feel of the picture and I am pretty sure you can check it out on my site in the TTD section as well. It adds a pop of color in the room and I love it!

Also…I am gearing up for the start of my season this week. My first wedding of the year is with Carrie and Gregg and Saturday is their Big Day! Can’t wait guys! I am looking forward to getting back to shooting weddings and using some my latest additions to my lens collection.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend!
TTFN!
Happy Saturday!

I am alive! Yipppeeee! I am actually okay guys! I know I have gotten some comments/emails and calls wondering how things are, where have I gone to, and am I okay. I am alive, but have been extremely under the weather with a flu thing beyond belief. So I have been trying to keep up with everything in life and blogging wasn’t one of them! However, I noticed my stats are way low due to it and I will begin to bless you all with my boring life journies once again! So in the past few days you have missed the following of my life…
~a trip to see the Easter Bunny….it was a lot of fun and he gave out great prizes to all the boys and girls!
~me blowing my nose and coughing…
~me making myself some tea to soothe my sore-er than sore throat.
~me answering uncountable emails to clients!
~me getting my hair done on a whim and then the next day having to go to my usual hair dresser who fixed the results from the prior day. I am proud to say that I actually didn’t cry over it this time. I have matured and have come to realize hair is just hair, it will grow and color can be changed!!!
~me missing PUG…
so like I said, nothing to crazy exciting but this week I am back in the swing of things and feel more like myself.
I hope you all have a happy St. Patty’s Day…and if it wasn’t for the stopping into my favorite (lately) restaurant, Sesame Seed, I would have forgotten all about it…and I’m Irish…oh well!

I just got notice today that Leather Craftsmen is offering an album design seminar from one of their own, David Willis, teamed up with Ross Benton, who is a photographer who also offers album design services for those photographers that are preoccupied with other areas of the business and need to outsource their album designs.
The seminar isn’t until June 27th but they are only taking the first 10 who sign up. So spots will fill fast I am sure…you can check out all the information here if you are interested in attending.
The best part of the deal is your tuition includes a 24 sided 10×10 flush mount coffee table book. How sweet is that.
So I am just passing along the word to those out there that are looking to focus on album designs this year.
Happy Tuesday!

Good Morning Everyone!!!
Happy Monday!
I am excited to share with you my latest design for Carrie and Gregg’s guest book for their wedding coming up in a couple of weeks! It was a fun shoot and even more fun to design the book for them to leave out for their wedding guests to view and sign. What a cool way to show off your engagement pictures! (hint hint ;o) I leave lots of negative space with the idea of having the area open to sign without taking away from the actual images. What an awesome keepsake.
Enjoy!

I will have to definitely grab a detail shot of the book at their wedding! ;o)

Yippppeeee!
A while back a friend of mind lent me this camera. I am not sure if it was intended for me to get this fine piece of equipment up and running again, but I was on a mission. I was really intrigued by it and couldn’t wait to do some research on the old Sawyer’s Camera. This is a body that has traveled cross country and has crossed paths with a variety of lives I am sure. Being that it is a piece of history that has actually documented history in the making is what is so unbelievably beyond cool about it.
So with a bit of research and a little time I have found the film that is used in this old Sawyer’s camera.
I can’t wait to use it so I can return it with a bit more history captured…more stories to share!

This will be tough for me to get used to again…maunal film advancing. I have gotten a tad bit lack-sa-days-ickle in my digital days!
have a great night!
It’s a mean machine! Watch out!

ps…let me know who’s coming…
and again…it is open to all people of all levels!
Well, today is Saturday, and despite the dreary weather outside, I am feeling chipper!
Yesterday I got my new studio sample in of the Leather Craftsmen Fine-Art album that I designed and I am extremely excited to share the pics with you. This is a really pretty album and I LOVE it with all my heart! I of course am not usually so attached to material things, however, I am one of those obsessed photographers out there that becomes emotionally attached to images that I create and to see them displayed in a beautiful album built to last is a really cool feeling.
So here are some pics for you to see…you won’t actually see any images on the pages…however, I assure you that they are in there! ;o) Besides…what fun would that be if I didn’t leave a little mystery to it?!

and a few of my little PipiSqueak!!! Like I have mentioned before…she lucked out in the lips and eyes department…(however, this time the x-process helped a bit with that!)

She’s such a little devil…

and a bit dramatic at times as well…

But of course…I love her all the more for it!!!
Happy Saturday!

So, April will be here before we know it and we are heading into the start of the wedding season! Yipppeeee! I am very excited!
So when is good for most of you lunchers out there that have been attending our PB&J (photography-beer-junkfood) get togethers???
I am thinking in April we may want to start to do this on a weeknight or at least a sunday afternoon because a lot of us will be booked with weddings on the weekends…
What works for most of you so I can plan the day? Let me know…
And what is your status on Chinese Food??? I was thinking this is something we could do next time around…order out and stuff our faces with yummy egg rolls!
Any suggestions on Topics to be covered next time around…

I couldn’t resist.

Forgive my dorkyness…as when I am working hard I burn brain calories which makes me want to pig out on chocolate.
Ahhhhhhhhh! Now I can function…back to designing.
