This past weekend I was a second shooter at a beautiful wedding at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle in New York. I helped out my friend Peter from Peter Oberc Photography. It is always such a pleasure and a wonderful opportunity to shoot with Peter. I am very excited about the images that I captured from the day and I have quite a few to share here…I think about 60 give or take a few! ;o) Well, enough chit chat…here’s the goods…very soon I will have a slideshow up of their images set to music! For now enjoy these…
The beautiful gown.

if you don’t know me already, I LOVE shoes! These were fun with the studded toes!

Harper getting ready…

I love this shot…

their first look. I love Peter’s reaction in the background. It is true that us photographers are extremely connected to our work and the couples that we photograph and I think Peter’s expression shows that.

I am extremely attached to this one. I love it.

a couple of variations for ring shots. The first being on the piano.

The ceremony was very intimate.

Party time! Yummy cake!

I loved James and Harper’s reactions during the toasts…

Happy Monday!
Check back tomorrow for the slideshow version!

I shot a fun engagement shoot with Aron and Julie a couple of weeks ago at the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium. Aron proposed to Julie at the Aquarium so we all agreed it was very appropriate to shoot there! How romantic! I had a lot of fun helping them re-live the moment!
Here were my favs from the day…

We waited and waited for the sea turtle to swim by us! He finally cooperated! ;o)
In front of the shark tank, which was the spot in which Aron got down on one knee!

Then we headed outside for a bit of variety…

We were very limited on daylight…so I had to break out some off camera lighting and get creative!

Congrats to Aron and Julie!
Happy Sunday!
I have a really beautiful wedding to blog in the next day or so! Can’t wait to share!

I am happy to become a member of Modern Photographers, an elite group of extremely talented, artistic photographers that create fresh and modern wedding and portrait images! Modern Photographers is a place for brides to connect with and find photographers who are dedicated to making their images about something more then just the standard traditional wedding photography, but more about art. I believe all photographers involved in Modern Photographers are truely passionate about photography in general ( not just wedding photography), the moments presented to us in life to capture, as well as the people we photograph! I am so excited to be a part of such a fine organization!
Hope you all have a very Happy Friday!

I am super excited to be announcing the latest product launch at Creative Image Collections! I have been working on this for quite some time and had a hard time keeping it a secret…but I did good!
I have been wanting to add slideshows to my presentations for quite some time now, but really wanted to take my time and research and find the right fit for my style as well as top notch quality for my clients. I believe in presenting my work in nothing but the best…which is why I have no issues with spending a bit more on something that I will defnitely be happy with. It has always been my motto as a consumer that you get what you pay for, and believe as a business owner that you should be able to stand behind your products/work 100%…
So with that said…I am presenting to you a fun slideshow of my kiddies as an example of the fun stuff in store for my clients in the year to come!
You can check it out by clicking HERE
Enjoy!
Happy Tuesday!

I am trying to keep up with my blogging so I can stay connected to you! So I am pretty much boring today…just working on some computer stuff and slideshows and recharging some batteries. I am off later to a really cool engagement session that may be a little fishy, since it is at the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium!!! ;o) It will be a challange for sure shooting in the dark but I am always up for some interesting shoots such as this!
For now just a couple shots of ice…from our storm the other day…nothing too exciting since I only had 2 minutes to shoot before I put breakfast on the table for the kiddies and since I was working in my slippers! ;o)

Happy Sunday!

It is rare that I take my camera out to capture shots of my little ones. I have to remind myself that they will only be this young once and that it would be such a shame if I one day look back and wish I could remember who they were at this time in life and have no photographs to help me do so. Actually one of the things on my to-do-list this year is to keep up with my family photos on a monthly basis! Also to buy a video camera so I can record their voices! These two are the most wonderful gift I have ever received in life! They are everything to me and a constant reminder of how precious life is.
Nina…she is a diva and a very VERY dramatic little princess! But she is full of spirit, can light up a room, and we all love her dearly! ;o)

Nina is an animal lover and is very fond of Grandma’s dog Guinness!

I am not sure where the other leg warmer went for the next couple shots?! Story of the day-in-a-life of a Mom!

We found the leg warmer! Yipppeeeeeee!

I love this shot of her…I want her hair.
I mentioned the word Chocolate and she ran over to the end of the table and gave me a big and VERY cheesey smile…
but don’t be fooled…that didn’t last more than three seconds!
It is a known fact that Nina spends the majority of her day staring at and following my son Peyton’s every move. She loves him so much! They are a cute little team!
Peyton…who is the spitting image of my dad when he was younger! I love that!

What a ham!

P.S. I am an “EVEN STEVEN” kind of mom just so you know…Peyton was napping through most of the picture taking this time around! ;o)

Hey There! Happy New Year! I am still Alive! I know I have been very lazy in my blogging, but I think I needed a break from things for a little bit to get myself grounded, organized and ready for the upcoming year! I had an extremely busy year with lots of changes, both business and personal, and I am a very strong believer that with rough patches in life you gain strength and courage that you may not have realized existed within you. I am lucky to have photography as a creative outlet and feel it is one of the things, next to the people in my life, that helps me to keep chugging along! I find great pleasure in getting lost in it and I love sharing it with all of you out there!
I did this Trash-the-Dress shoot a long, long time ago with Shannon and finally have had the chance to blog them for you all (and her ;o) It was cold and I was covered in burrs by the end of the day! In fact there were so many burrs that it was pointed out by the man behind the counter in the Dunkin Donuts we made a pit stop at while shooting! ;o)
I hope you enjoy!

Shan has these striking blue eyes! LOVE them!

I hope you all have a happy healthy new year!
Happy Friday!
